The thing I hear often during a consultation with my wedding couple is “I don’t really like my picture being taken“. A pre-wedding shoot is a great way to get you both at ease in front of the camera, away from a crowd of people where you can concentrate on just being yourselves. You can choose a location such as your own garden at home, or further afield at a place that holds meaning to you as a couple, or even your wedding venue if the space is available. These images can be used on “save the date” cards, on your social media feeds, as a printed mini-album, or even the centrepiece in a signing frame for your guests on the day. We can practice poses that are comfortable and easy to achieve, to help mitigate any ‘awkwardness’ in front of your guests on your wedding day. The aim is to get you both naturally interacting with each other, looking relaxed and enjoying the experience. Wear what you want, bring prosecco if you want, even your family pet. A pre-wedding shoot is about confidence building, posing practice, and capturing the beginning of your wedding story in a relaxed environment.  |

A great addition to your wedding day is a signing frame. This is a simple, yet beautiful keepsake of your day. There is a generous mount area for your guests to sign. The size is 24″ x 20″ (600mm x 508mm) There is a 7″ x 5″ aperture for your chosen photograph. You can use one of your own, or if you’ve booked a pre-wedding shoot this would make a great centrepiece. There is an additional aperture below which will house your event title (Wedding Names, Date, Location) The signing frame will be complete with glass that will be inserted after the event, ready for you to hang on your wall.  |
